African drumming workshop

On 3 November 2022, African vibes were brought to our school and classrooms. An African drumming workshop was held to provide our students with an interactive and fun learning experience. Originating from West Africa,  the African drum Djembe has been an intrinsic part of African culture for centuries. They are used in many different ways, such as carrying out messages, ceremonies, or weddings. Through the workshop, students learned the principles of African drumming and how to cooperate to create and perform their rhythms.
