Amazing Race in Central and Sheung Wan

Our form 3 students were divided into 6 groups to participate in the History and Geography field studies across six different routes in Central and Western District in the morning of 4th November 2022. Each route called at one museum, one street, and one historical spot. To fulfill the observation requirements, students were asked to play the roles of observer, photographer, or interviewer at the arrival of each spot and decide whether the spots are worth visiting for tourists.  

In the afternoon, students had to organize the collected data and photos taken on a cardboard and present their findings to the class. Students were able to share their points of view on different sites with other groups of students to build a common understanding of the attractions and history of the Central and Western District. 

The goals of the activity were to consolidate students’ subject knowledge and aid them to become confident and independent learners.
