Cycling in Nam Sang Wai to get in touch with nature

Teachers of the Physical Education department have organised a cycling trip in Nam Sang Wai in post-exam period so students could get in touch with nature, enabling them to learn the importance of the safety of cycling, the history of Hung Mo Kiu, the ecosystem of Wetlands (little egrets, great egrets, great cormorants), plant ecology and abandoned tidal shrimp ponds (the operation of the tidal shrimp ponds, the history of the little bridge, reeds, lemon-scented gum etc). Not only were students able to have a stretch, but also given the opportunity to know more about their community.
