Smelling the Scent of Culture with Passion; Serving a Cup of Aromatic Tea with Enthusiasm

In order to deepen students’ understanding of tea and traditional Chinese culture and broaden their horizons, the Department of Chinese Language invited the K.S. Lo Gallery to organize a tea appreciation workshop at school for students. Through learning about tea culture and gaining hands-on experience of brewing tea with different tea ware, students were able to know more about the essence of the art of tea. Before the lesson ended, students even served tea to the teacher, enabling them to experience the virtues ‘concentration, politeness, and friendliness’ in the process.
