E SPORTS Experiencing Workshop

E-sports was listed as an official competition event for the first time in the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. In recent years, many sports training has been combined with e-sports, including skiing, cycling, horse riding, football, rowing, basketball, boxing, reaction racks, obstacle courses, etc. E-sports allows students to have a preliminary understanding of different sports through simulators. Some less popular sports, such as skiing and horse riding, can be experienced in e-sports so that potential and interested students can formally contact the corresponding sports.  

Our school was invited by the Yuen Long District Office of Home Affairs Department and the Yuen Long District Sports Association to participate in the "E-Sports" experience program. Students can learn more about e-sports and its occupation classification and understand it is not just about playing games but also communicating with others. The experience also allows students to learn about collaborating with people and allocating their time. 

Our students enjoyed a three-hour e-sports experience in the AME Stadium in K-11 MUSEA that day. Everyone was sweating and having fun!
