Friday Assembly & PGP Highlights (2 October 2026)

Date: 02/10/2026

On 2 October 2026, students took part in a range of meaningful learning activities during the Friday Assembly and Personal Growth Programme (PGP).

Our S1 students joined the National Security Board Game Challenge, co-organised with The Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP). Through an interactive board game featuring different aspects of national security, students learned important concepts in a fun and engaging way while developing a stronger sense of civic responsibility.

Meanwhile, S2 to S5 students participated in class-based activities on character strengths and bulletin board design. Through discussions and collaborative tasks, students reflected on the positive values and qualities embodied by YLMASS students while strengthening class cohesion.

S6 students attended a University Interview Skills Seminar conducted by Dr. Chan Kin Wai from the HKBU College of International Education. The seminar provided practical interview tips and preparation strategies, helping students build confidence as they prepare for further studies.

S.1 National Security Workshop
S.6 University Admission Interview Seminar

To help students better prepare for university applications and enhance their chances of admission, Careers and life exploration committee invited Dr. Chan Kin Wai from the HKBU College of International Education to share valuable interview skills with our S.6 students. Through the session, students learned how to prepare effectively for university interviews, boost their confidence, and get ready for the challenges of further studies.
