S1 Charity Potted Plant Sale Presentation Competition (2025–2026)
Date: 13/03/2026
The Counselling Team, Parent-Teacher Association, Moral and Civic Education Team, and Citizenship, Economics and Society department jointly organised the S1 Charity Potted Plant Sale Presentation Competition on 13 March 2026. The activity aimed to enable S1 students to appreciate the meaning of life through cultivating mini potted plants, while learning basic concepts of business operation and management through a charity sale. On the day of the competition, students from each S1 class applied SWOT analysis to examine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of their planting projects. They shared their planting experiences in various creative formats, demonstrating the self-discipline and perseverance of our school community.
After deducting the cost of purchasing plant seedlings, the funds raised from the charity sales by each class were donated to the following organisations: Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) (1C, 1M, 1E), The Red Cross (1S) and Ronald McDonald House Charities® (1A).
